Please sign up below for a Single Line Portrait session. The session will last less than half an hour, and you will receive a 6×4 image of your session by post within 28 days.
Each session will cost £20, payable on the day (cash only).
The sessions will take place at Ply Gallery, Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, London, N8 9BQ.
How long will the session last?
The portrait will take between 15 and 30 minutes.
What does the session involve?
A Single Line Portrait is relatively simple to take. You will sit in a chair with a single beam of light projected onto you. The light can be quite bright, but won’t shine directly into your eyes. Stillness is a must.
What should I wear?
There’s no dress code – the portraits work best when they can extend below your chin, so vests or shirts with the first couple of buttons undone are preferable.
What will I receive after the session?
You will receive via post a single 6×4 image of the shoot. You will also receive a digital copy sent to an email address.
Will you use the images afterwards?
By agreeing to a Single Line Portrait, you are agreeing that the resulting image can be added to the ongoing ‘Single Line Portrait’ series, which may be used in exhibitions, publications, or online/social media. You will be asked to complete a consent form upon completing the session.
I’d like to get involved, but I’m not free that day. Will you be running the sessions again?
Maybe. If you’re interested in finding out more please sign up to the Three Practices Newsletter here.
I’ve signed up. Are you going to send me lots of emails or pass on my details to other people or organisations?
Nope. I promise. If you want to be kept up to date, feel free to sign up to the Three Practices Newsletter here. If you do, I won’t pass on your details to anybody else.
